The firm was facing a formidable multiyear upgrade of an AS400 RPG application for 22 countries, to a GUI-based wholesale banking product. It didn't want to add to headcount. RCG IT Philippines was engaged for a period of 2-3 years starting in January 2005 to assume responsibily for construction, technical design and functional, system and integration testing. RCG IT is also responsible for recruiting and training additional resources as the project ramps up. Fifty developers were dedicated to the project by June 2005.
